Objectif:

The course is addressed to participants who want to acquire a technical understanding of UMTS networks.

Pré-requis:

Basic knowledge of communication networks

Contenu:

- Development of 2G and 3G mobile networks
- Architecture of a UMTS network
- The interfaces and protocols
- Some examples of procedures (authentication, ciphering, location update, handover, mobile originating call and mobile terminating call, SMS, data application)

This training lasts 3 days and can be delivered in English, French or German.
